Why Donate?

The Sustainability Academy is a 501c3 public benefit organization. While we charge fees for many of our services, we also provide a wide range of programs that require funding through grants and donations. These programs include, but are not limited to:

Public Information: A sustainable community is an informed community. To this end, The Sustainability Academy is currently developing the Sustainability WIKI, a community calendar of sustainablity events and classes, a directory of sustainable products and services, a tri-county sustainability newsletter, and online classes in sustainability.

Partnerships: partnering with other organizations is key to creating a sustainable community. The Sustainability Academy is currently seeking a partner (and funding) to undertake a project to "green" day care centers in the tri-county area. We are also looking for partners in establishing the Health Care Roundtable and a Green Harbor Symposium.
